Nancy Valko, RN

Nancy Valko chooses life over death.  She is pro life and most people have little idea what this means as that term has been somewhat tainted by politically correct dogma.  Now is the time for everyone to question what that term actually means.

Did you every wonder exactly what is brain death?  What does it really mean?  Nancy will talk about this very topic during this program.

Also, Hospice was  created with the traditional  principle of neither prolonging nor hastening dying.  Today it seems in numerous cases as if it is only about hastening dying.

Recent news has a  news article titled “Frisco hospice owner urged nurses to overdose patients so they would die quicker, FBI says”

This certainly doesn’t sound like what hospice is supposed to be about.

Nancy will explain how she came to understand the American Public has been mislead about life and death.  How politically correct can and has distorted truth by misleading statements and absolute omissions.

Using her own life examples the public will be better able to identify and comprehend the vast and often negative changes that health care in American has taken during the past three decades.

Nancy Valko, RN, ALNC is a wonderful long-time pro-life leader, author, patient advocate, critical care nurse, legal nurse consultant, and spokeswoman for the National Association of Pro-life Nurses, among many other achievements.  Nancy continues to be available to speak to the public, to provide legal nurse consulting and medical record review, and also serves as a consultant for those who seek her nursing expertise on cases.

Tune in to hear Nancy Valko, RN.  Nancy Valko, RN is:

  • President, Missouri Nurses for Life
  • Intensive Care Unit Nurse
  • Contributing Editor, Voices
  • Columnist, “Bioethics Watch,” Voices
  • Spokesperson, National Association of Pro-life Nurses
  • Board Member, Missouri Right to Life
  • Former Co-Chair, Saint Louis Archdiocesan Pro-Life Committee
  • Nancy Valko, RN, ALNC, is a longtime writer and speaker on medical ethics issues who recently retired from critical care nursing to devote more time to consulting and volunteer work. She is also a spokesperson for the National Association of Pro Life Nurses.

Abstract: Every year, people make decisions based on trust in the certainty of diagnoses of brain death. These decisions range from signing an organ donation card to withdrawing life support from a loved one. Two recent developments have revived concerns about medical standards for determining brain death. One is a recent study on variability in brain death policies in the United States; the other is the filing of a federal lawsuit to rescind the death certificate of Jahi McMath, a teenager who appears to have survived a 2013 declaration of brain death. The author examines these developments and asks whether trust in the certainty of brain-death determinations is currently warranted.

Darlene Garcia – Protestor At Fontana Kaiser

Darlene Garcia and her husband Hank Garcia.

Darlene Garcia has a story she wants you to know about it.  Your listening to her story may save your life some day.

You can find her most afternoons outside of Kaiser Permanente Fontana.

Darlene Garcia interview originally taped though Tropic Wave Radio

The love of her life, Hank Garcia, a robust, very strong man was rendered in a few days to a very weak and in appearance old man who died shortly thereafter due to mismanagement of medical care by professionals who were more concerned with a time clock and a salary than they were with being physicians who should  be helping to heal patients.

Every afternoon, Hank’s wife Darlene is outside Kaiser Fontana.  She talks to patients and many come up to her and tell her their Kaiser HMO patient horror stories.  There are more of these stories than you can possibly imagine.  These stories are not so called “medical errors.  The reasons are far more serious than true error.  These are problems that cause death, disfigurement or permanent crippling due to selfishness on the part of medical staff, greed and actual incompetence.  Often these stories also contain the element of over scheduled staff who are exhausted physically and mentally and are not at that time capable of doing their jobs professionally.  Over scheduling of a well financed hospital is caused only by an Administration that is cutting corners.

Darlene has a FaceBook page about this at:

Sharon Kramer – The Rest of the Story

Taped on April 29, 2016

This program is a followup on the Sharon Kramer story which we recently covered on The Vickie Travis Show.  Sharon tells us how members of the court system and in particular one judge who  did allow jurors who were sequestered to receive materials which were not presented during trial and then ordered the jury to use the new material.

She has sworn affidavits which will be presented at the end of this On-Demand program.  This type of governmental interference in due process is about as dirty as it can get.  You may view them here and here now if you do not want to wait to hear the program.

Sharon has uncovered a common theme in American Health Policy.  False scientific reports written for the benefit of insurance companies to avoid responsibility and not honestly honor their patron’s contracts financially benefit from inaccurate public policy.  If all industry has to do is pay someone to write a report as they want it to be written and then market or publicize it to alter public policy it is a financial win for them.

Unfortunately, marketing to alter public policy with false material can often place the well being of the public in a pretty precarious position health wise.

Richard Obanion – Patient Abandonment

Download mp3 Program at: 2016-04-12_Vickie_RichardObanion_1

richard-obanion-1Our guest is Richard Obanion.  He is a retired financial services officer who had the misfortune of becoming the victim of both medical malpractice and vaccine injury.  He is now permanently disabled.  These experiences left him crippled and in chronic pain.   His HMO physicians chose to medicate him with opiate pain medicine rather than admit what had actually happened to him and do what could be done to fix the medical problems they created.  Consequently he became dependent on the HMO prescribed medications.  The way he has been treated is deplorable. One day they suddenly refused to renew his pain medicine.  The White House has declared war on over-prescribing of opiate medications.  They didn’t think it through all the way when they did this.  Doctors are given three days of classes and are suddenly experts in how to withdraw patients from such medications.  Most of the time there are serious problems when it is suddenly withdrawn.  Patients are left to take care of themselves.

Richard was abused by physicians that were more afraid of getting in trouble for their over prescribing than they were about taking care of a patient.

Richard is going to tell us how to avoid  being given the run around.

How to stop the run around, how to survive  hop scotching from one facility to another and will tell which facilities helped him and which did not.  He has several other tips that all patients will find useful.

Tune in to learn how Richard has survived this sudden withdrawal of pain medication  after being made the dependent by his HMO physician.  Learn the retaliatory tricks these medical professionals are using to dump patients, to label them, to ban them from medical care in an attempt to distract from the truth – the truth being that HMO physicians created this problem and don’t want to draw attention to themselves.  Learn how to work around these problems.

There is one more reason you want to tune into this program.  We all know that HMO’s, and some physicians are reluctant to hand over a copy of patient medical records, or a least reluctant to hand them all over.  Patients may get a little bit of the records here or there but probably at least in some cases not all of them.

Learn how they can be obtained because there is a way to do it even when the physician refuses.

In 2015 the White House announced Public and Private Sector efforts to address Prescription Drug Abuse.

Suddenly his HMO physicians are forcing patients into sudden withdrawal by not renewing  medications nor providing alternatives that could address medical problems that cannot be treated any other way.

“The leading public health agency in the United States is urging doctors to stop prescribing opioids for patients suffering from chronic pain, noting that the risks of taking such drugs far outweigh the benefits.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently published updated guidelines for distributing these powerful, highly addictive drugs. Vicodin and OxyContin are two prescriptions included in the guidelines. These measures come as a result of the nation’s prescription painkiller epidemic, which the CDC says poses a compelling threat to the health of the country.

The new guidelines do, however, provide exceptions for patients receiving cancer therapy or other forms of end-of-life care. When physicians deem these drugs necessary in other situations, the CDC recommends they be in the lowest possible dose for the shortest period of time.

CDC Director Thomas Frieden said in a statement that public health officials know of no other medications used for nonfatal conditions that contribute to more deaths. The guidelines’ aims, according to Frieden, are to decrease the rate of preventable deaths from opioids and to solidify the drugs’ status as dangerous medications that should be used sparingly.”

Physicians are also now being punished for over prescribing opiate medications.  Pain Management Centers are shutting down, doctors that specialized in this field are getting out of it and in general, over caution is the new norm.  Especially since state and federal governments are  now starting to prosecute.  See:

Taped 5 APRIL, 2016 :: Is Euthanasia Now Normalized? Is Rationing of Patient Care the New norm?

Tune in to this powerful interview with Wesley J Smith. Wesley J Smith is a Lawyer, an award winning author, and a Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute’s Center on Human Exceptionalism.

Find out from this world recognized authority on the topic of Euthanasia the answer to your questions: Has Euthanasia become Normalized? Are people now numb to this topic and do they just accept it as the new normal? Are they now rationing patient medical care and handing out like candy the medicine used to kill patients? Are the poor now openly being treated differently than the affluent with the way they receive medical care?

Today, by law in some places a person doesn’t have to be sick to have a physician or a nurse help them kill themselves. It is one big free for all – anything goes. What about the families of the patients? What about the health care workers that have to make people dead? What about physicians who are sometimes forced by law to take part in a patient killing against their beliefs, their will and their personal choice or give up their chosen profession? How do these people fare in the long term?

These answers and more Wesley J Smith answers during this program on T2016-04-05_Vickie_Wesley-J-Smith_1
